Setup a OIDC SSO provider

This guide will show you how to setup a OIDC SSO provider for your team to signin on the Cohort Admin.

Social Identity Providers

If you'd like to setup a social Identity Provider like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Facebook etc.. for SSO, you can just ask the support team to set this up for you, no configuration on your side is required.

Custom Identity Providers

This requires some setup on your Identity Provider itself, so you might need help from an IT admin.

1. Go to your Identity Provider and start adding a new OIDC application integration. This might vary from IdP to another, so please refer to your IdP documentation for more details.

2. You will need the following information:

• Grant Type: Authorization Code

• Sign-in redirect URL: https://auth-app.getcohort.com/__/auth/handler

1. Save your application and provide the following information to the Cohort support team:

• OIDC Client ID

• OIDC Client Secret

• Issuer URL

The Cohort support team will get back to you once your SSO is configured.
