GLOSSARY
Admin interface: Dedicated interface where the Brand’s team members can create engagement campaigns and monitor their performance .
Airdrop: (type of campaign) A Campaign that automatically sends a reward to users, without requiring a specific user action. Users will automatically retrieve their reward in their Experience Space.
Apps: List of applications that can be connected to your Cohort account to enrich your customer experience.
Audience: (in a campaign) The audience of a campaign defines which user(s) will have access to it. It can either be all the users, or a list or a segment of users.
Badge: Visual recognition of a specific achievement. Users can get a badge by being part of a list or a segment.
Campaign: is made of a loyalty experience associated with a rewards and an audience. Each campaign can contain one ore several steps that a user must complete in order to get a reward. A Campaign is available to all users, or a specific list or a segment of users.
3 types:
Store: A landing page that can be accessed through a link or a QR code where users can buy rewards or claim them for free.
Challenge: A sequence of step(s) that the users will have to complete to get a reward.
Airdrop: An automatic distribution of rewards to all users or a list or a segment of users.
Challenge: (type of campaign) A sequences of step(s) that your users will have to complete to get rewards.
Contact email: Email address that can be configure in the Admin interface and visible for the users on a campaign, in FAQ section, in case they need some help and want to contact someone.
Customer user properties: Custom fields that allow you to collect information about your users, through Cohort campaigns. These user properties can enrich your database and customize campaign targeting (text, number, boolean, date…). The values of these fields can also be sent and/or retrieve from your database. Once a new custom user property is created, it becomes available on every user record in Cohort.
Digital Asset: unique digital item to collect, that can be distributed to your users.
Embed: Integrate/Embed the Cohort Experience Space in your website or mobile application. Campaigns’ URL can be generated from your Experience Space URL or from a custom URL.
Engagement score: A score, defined by Cohort, that reflects a user’s current engagement.
Experience Space: a set of interfaces designed for users and automatically generated by Cohort, where users can interact with the brand and get rewarded for their engagement. In this space, users will retrieved their membership pass, campaigns, badges, perks and digital assets.
Languages: Define which languages are available for the users on their Experience Space. The admin interface can be in french or english, it can be set up in the profil icon.
List: Static list of users, allow you to target specific audiences in your campaigns. A list can be created by uploading a CSV or adding the users manually.
Membership Pass: In their Experience Space, users will get identified and recognized thanks to this pass representing their identity in your brand.
Notifications: Emails automatically sent to users when they have performed an action (gained a badge, received a digital asset, connected an app…).
Owners: List of users owning a reward.
Participants: List of users who have joined / completed a campaign.
Perk: exclusive online or offline rewards that you can proposed to your users, to drive engagement and capture data.
QR Codes Reader: Create URLs that allow you to open a QR Code reader landing page from a mobile device to scan QR code perks. You can create as many access as you want, a unique URL will be created for each access.
Reward: Something that a user will receive for completing a campaign (Perk or Digital asset). A reward can also be sent to users without completing a campaign (Airdrop campaign)
Segment: Segment of users, based on their behavior or properties, allow you to target specific audiences in your campaigns.
Standalone: For a campaign or Experience space, not embed, available on a specific url hosted by Cohort. No technical integration or development required for this diffusion mode.
Status: (for campaigns) Published : the campaign is available on the Experience Space. Draft: the campaign settings is not yet complete, not available on the Experience Space. Ended: the campaign is finished and it is no longer visible on the Experience Space. Archived: the campaign is ended and it is not visible by default on the Admin interface campaigns page.
Step: A single action, setup by a Brand in a challenge campaign, that users needs to achieve to complete a challenge.

Team Members: Employee of the brand who accesses Cohort Admin interface to build and manage their engagement program.
Test mode: Test mode allows you to test all the features of Cohort and the end-to-end user flow of your customers by creating demo campaigns.
User: Prospect or Customer of a Brand who has an account in Cohort.
User interfaces: All interfaces accessible to end users: Experience space, standalone campaigns.
