• Export user events from Cohort to trigger Klaviyo automations

Installation

• On your Cohort dashboard menu (top-right), click on Apps and select the Klaviyo App

• Click on Connect to start the connection process

• Follow the instructions in the pop-up to login and connect your Klaviyo account

Export User Events

Setup export

• The "Export user event" configuration page becomes available once the connection is validated.

• You can opt to export all user events or pick only the ones you're interested in (recommended).

• Once configure, click on Save changes.

Creating an automation using Cohort User Events

• On your Klaviyo dashboard, go to Flows and create a new Flow

• On the triggers pannel, select "Your metrics" and the Cohort app

• Select the desired event type to trigger the flow

• In the example below, we're creating an automation to send an email when a user joins a Cohort (segment or list)
