Prestashop Connection

In order to connect your Prestashop website with Cohort, you will need to create a Webservice Key with the correct permission in your Prestashop back office.

1) Configure a webservice key for Cohort

• Go to your Prestashop back office and go to Advanced Parameters > Webservice

• Check the Enable PrestaShop webservice box and click save

• Click on Add new webservice key and create a key for Cohort

  • Key : You can use Generate to automatically generate a key

  • Key description : You can name it however you want. We recommend including Cohort in the description for authentication purposes.

  • Permissions : Check the following permissions:

    • customers: GET, PUT

    • groups: GET, POST, PUT

    • languages: GET

  • Click on Save

  

2) Find your webservice key for Cohort

• Go to your Prestashop back office and go to Advanced Parameters > Webservice

• Scroll down to the Webservice tab and copy the key you have created for Cohort

3) Create the Connection

• Shop URL: The URL of your shop (for example my-shop.com)

• Webservice API Key: The key that was created in the previous step

• Use secure API connection: We recommend always checking this box, which allows us to use a more secure connection to your API. Unfortunately, a lot of Prestashop stores have a configuration problem that does not make it possible. If the perk creation fails, either fix the configuration of your store, or uncheck this box, but understand that this makes your API key less secure.
