Add to Customer Group

The Prestashop - Add to Customer Group perk on Cohort will automatically create a Customer Group. The group will be named Cohort - <your perk name> in Prestashop.

All your users that have access to this perk will be automatically synced in this group.

You can then go to your Prestashop back office to configure the advantages you want for this group. Here are some examples of advantages you can offer:

• Discounts (through Cart Discount rules )

• Access to exclusive Product Categories (through Categories Set Up)

• Free shipping (through Cart Discount rules)

• Extended carrier options (Carriers Set Up)

• Free product gift (through Cart Discount Rules)

• …

⚠️ Do not modify any customer group created and managed by Cohort as it will create inconsistencies and lead to bugs. If you think you need to make a modification or if you have any questions, please reach out to [e-mail].

Create the Perk

• In the Cohort admin, create a new Perk of type Special Offer or Physical Product

• Select the Prestashop integration

• Select or configure a new Prestashop Connection

• Enter the following information

  • Login URL : The URL of the login page of your store (for example : https://www.my-shop.com/fr/connexion?back=my-account)

  • Registration URL : The URL of the page to create an account on your store (for example : https://www.my-shop.com/fr/connexion?create_account=1)
